We are seeking a Freelance AI Fraud & Risk Analyst to design, analyze, and improve AI-driven fraud detection and risk scoring systems across our freelancer marketplace. The role focuses on preventing fake profiles, fraudulent jobs, payment abuse, collusion, and compliance risks while maintaining a smooth user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze marketplace data to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and abuse vectors
• Design and improve AI/ML-based fraud detection rules and risk scores
• Build logic for detecting:
• Fake or duplicate freelancer profiles
• Fraudulent job postings
• Collusion between clients and freelancers
• Payment and milestone manipulation
• Collaborate with product and AI teams to integrate real-time risk signals
• Continuously monitor model accuracy, false positives & false negatives
• Recommend risk controls without impacting genuine users
• Document fraud scenarios, controls & escalation processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in fraud analytics, risk management, or trust & safety
• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML models, anomaly detection, or rule-based systems
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, or data analysis tools
• Understanding of marketplace or fintech risk frameworks
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable product decisions

Nice to Have

• Experience with gig economy, SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce platforms
• Knowledge of KYC, AML, behavioral analytics, or graph analysis
• Exposure to LLMs for fraud classification or pattern discovery
